Message #5 received at submit <at> debbugs.gnu.org (full text, mbox):
I'm using Gnus with nnimap.
I've a mailbox a bit special. It is public and shared among several users.
Therefore it is read-only. But flags can be set. The IMAP server is Dovecot.
This is announced like this:
. SELECT public.Salaries
* FLAGS (\Answered \Flagged \Deleted \Seen \Draft)
* OK [PERMANENTFLAGS ()] Read-only mailbox.
* 363 EXISTS
* 0 RECENT
* OK [UNSEEN 337] First unseen.
* OK [UIDVALIDITY 1254327225] UIDs valid
* OK [UIDNEXT 905] Predicted next UID
* OK [HIGHESTMODSEQ 1] Highest
. OK [READ-ONLY] Select completed.
When a mail in that mailbox is set as read, Gnus does not set the \Seen
flag on mails, but it should because it actually can.
