The mouse pointer is controlled by X so this shows nothing.
> We can quit this state by C-g
Yes, it interrupts whatever Emacs is doing.

This is a released version. It works for me and there haven't been other
reports so there must be something unusual about your set up. It may be that
there are just too many completions for Emacs to handle. What happens if you
do the same on the command line? Do you get something like:
(gdb) b <TAB>
Display all 20954 possibilities? (y or n)
If not then could you send details of the gdb command and program that you are
using. Does it happen with a simple "hello world" program?

Message #11 received at 5561 <at> debbugs.gnu.org (full text, mbox):
It is worth than I thought
If I send a command in gdb, it do nothing
I have to do C-c C-c to recovery the (gdb) prompt
But I found a solution to my problem :
I call gdb with --annotate=3 parameter
On emacs22 it works without this parameter

I don't uderstand your reply. You must keep the "--annotate=3" in the command
expression in the mini-buffer for GDB Graphical Interface to work for both
Emacs 22 and Emacs 23. Emacs 21 uses a different option ("--fullname") but
this doesn't get displayed in the mini-buffer.
Anyway it sounds like it works for you now, so I'm closing this bug report.
