I.e., the message is from M-:, not from `pulse-momentary-highlight-region'. > So I think it's not exclusively related to my configuration. Maybe > someone can reproduce this behavior. If the problem is that `pulse-momentary-highlight-region' doesn't pulse in your configuration, but does pulse with "emacs -Q", then it sounds like the problem is with your configuration somewhere. -- (domestic pets only, the antidote for overdose, milk.) bloggy blog: http://lars.ingebrigtsen.no From debbugs-submit-bounces@debbugs.gnu.org Sat Apr 30 14:29:58 2022 Received: (at 55196) by debbugs.gnu.org; 30 Apr 2022 18:29:58 +0000 Received: from localhost ([127.0.0.1]:59077 helo=debbugs.gnu.org) by debbugs.gnu.org with esmtp (Exim 4.84_2) (envelope-from ) id 1nkrqw-0008GI-A6 for submit@debbugs.gnu.org; Sat, 30 Apr 2022 14:29:58 -0400 Received: from quimby.gnus.org ([95.216.78.240]:51058) by debbugs.gnu.org with esmtp (Exim 4.84_2) (envelope-from ) id 1nkrqt-0008G3-O3 for 55196@debbugs.gnu.org; Sat, 30 Apr 2022 14:29:56 -0400 DKIM-Signature: v=1; a=rsa-sha256; q=dns/txt; c=relaxed/relaxed; d=gnus.org; s=20200322; h=Content-Type:MIME-Version:Message-ID:In-Reply-To:Date: References:Subject:Cc:To:From:Sender:Reply-To:Content-Transfer-Encoding: Content-ID:Content-Description:Resent-Date:Resent-From:Resent-Sender: Resent-To:Resent-Cc:Resent-Message-ID:List-Id:List-Help:List-Unsubscribe: List-Subscribe:List-Post:List-Owner:List-Archive; bh=FB6CLat1HoxFmOBxo6DXBoYt6dIleA+1DkebDd2M+HU=; b=TmqXcY3yXENfBYF+bYRKtWuNjD Yijtis6M2vhprVFKn9GkIahaaA1B6aQ9tiOi+NS9RoAOJ7QLz3U0Xdpk1vEuH+VvYMGgATLSmzzZU HVdnI87mwYxU50h2pzemuejkyc+9fwRQvlYrlkx2eFVW5UDU+aFWW0x2x9D60GR9tfkI=; Received: from [84.212.220.105] (helo=xo) by quimby.gnus.org with esmtpsa (TLS1.3:ECDHE_RSA_AES_256_GCM_SHA384:256) (Exim 4.92) (envelope-from ) id 1nkrqk-0002t8-Sz; Sat, 30 Apr 2022 20:29:48 +0200 From: Lars Ingebrigtsen To: g@wbrck.de Subject: Re: bug#55196: 29.0.50; Unexpected pulse.el behavior in emacs-server-mode References: <07927438-C780-48CF-8DB4-36A5FCA94B4B@wbrck.de> <87fsluwkvu.fsf@gnus.org> <2CDFE489-B391-4A81-B482-6DA9EA359A69@wbrck.de> Face: iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAADAAAAAwBAMAAAClLOS0AAAABGdBTUEAALGPC/xhBQAAACBj SFJNAAB6JgAAgIQAAPoAAACA6AAAdTAAAOpgAAA6mAAAF3CculE8AAAAFVBMVEXIXTPCkEt0kn6x trdDccY+aLr////9vVIKAAAAAWJLR0QGYWa4fQAAAAd0SU1FB+YEHhIcFzOJe9cAAAGpSURBVDjL fZRbcsIwDEUtsoHYLf+xA/9A2gW0I/+X1Nr/VqoXSWCgYkIgJ/dK8iuEVwExRv4K/SPYFY9L2QaD +CwE9LnEuDHq2TokYDBxnJbnnf5Nopgu4z3obqCM0/AMSBGD18236dRN/QZAKiVlKUIuBdZnOlSi uXh5C4DUEBvWuRgo4CAfkQWiiXdABLUJQ00TilvBHjkqS/D7Bjr5ERtaUMPsVgJ2ImgG6NqvAI4N SRW11blfraLWym83ucUVJHuZs2NF4iRg5cI7aqUKkcTLcjBoRK2SZGqNAZgVHJAYqIQ/DsSKx49T C6lm5Tm6g/bsoF0XwApxl8x8GXAreV07F8XXCvZkRij9b60SSWfoA7Y2GIp04d0bGG0+WEGLoG4A Z1eJUpkpGM0KFok5LSBkWkjVVZd9znd7GSwZ43YdHHS+fGzYaU66zHxqNYsuEpLVAwBZcvC+if2u yGMqWZeu5ZCdcg5Jt14Mb/I3Kxg/6ffMKyLqPjCg5TrwUDAokB5+FnDA6QMHHZKX4PGk4DK03Mwp +8cDgEHnZ8R4d2TkZ8dODP8F/AHgvYpwgW4ekwAAACV0RVh0ZGF0ZTpjcmVhdGUAMjAyMi0wNC0z MFQxODoyODoyMyswMDowMGdEL9oAAAAldEVYdGRhdGU6bW9kaWZ5ADIwMjItMDQtMzBUMTg6Mjg6 MjMrMDA6MDAWGZdmAAAAAElFTkSuQmCC X-Now-Playing: Talking Heads's _Speaking in Tongues_: "Moon Rocks" Date: Sat, 30 Apr 2022 20:29:46 +0200 In-Reply-To: <2CDFE489-B391-4A81-B482-6DA9EA359A69@wbrck.de> (g.'s message of "Sat, 30 Apr 2022 20:27:10 +0200") Message-ID: <87fsluv2zp.fsf@gnus.org> User-Agent: Gnus/5.13 (Gnus v5.13) Emacs/29.0.50 (gnu/linux) MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain X-Spam-Report: Spam detection software, running on the system "quimby.gnus.org", has NOT identified this incoming email as spam.
