I can confirm I encountered the very same bug on my computer.

Paul, you were off by one with your downgrade.
I was able to reconfigure my system with the preceding commit
975966ba09e24d813cf94a794c4bd6375777372a .
Which means that commit a2c759c8304c461d096ab763568e7f71546ff4e8 is the
offender.
