Interesting, thank for reporting. What is your `guix describe` output?
I've successfully recreated the problem on Sway, GNOME Wayland, and GNOME 
Xorg with

$ guix describe
Generation 47   Dec 15 2021 11:43:02    (current)
  guix 2a621f1
    repository URL: https://git.savannah.gnu.org/git/guix.git
    branch: master
    commit: 2a621f168faec09be7ed3f6b9351c24a472b19e4

Perhaps you have something else installed in your profile that I don't 
that the WebKitGTK browsers need to work?

Is anyone else able to reproduce this issue?
