That just shows a command prompt, and nothing related to cp(1) or coreutils at all.

You failed to provide the information for any of the typical questions like:

- what do you want to achieve? -> verbose description
- how did you try to do it? -> command which was run
- what was the input for the operation? -> coreutils version, operating system,
  input files, environment variables, other prerequisites, ...
- what is the expected outcome?
- what was the actual outcome?
- what exact error messages do you see?

in short: a reproducer.
