Which is totally different from saying that it's
only appropriate for Common Lisp.

If you want to say that it's inappropriate for
"the overwhelmingly most popular Lisps out there
(Scheme, Clojure, Racket)", then do so.

Saying it's only appropriate for Common Lisp is
something else.

Not relevant.  Nothing says that some particular
effort would be needed to support another dialect.
