OK please mention completions-format on
(info "(emacs) Completion")

And on C-h m mode help:
 Completion List mode defined in ‘simple.el’:
 Major mode for buffers showing lists of possible completions.
 Type RET in the completion list to select the completion near point.
 Or click to select one with the mouse....
