Aha, thank you! That works:

$                guix pull --commit=... --url=${PWD} --profile=/tmp/g1.master --disable-authentication
$ ./pre-inst-env guix pull --commit=... --url=${PWD} --profile=/tmp/g2.master --disable-authentication
