(info "(coreutils) Backup options") is great, except,
it needs examples of how one can preserve file extension with it.

E.g., x.jpg~ messes up plenty of viewers, but x~.jpg is fine.
Same with numbered backups.

So the page should discuss this problem, and mention workarounds.
