Subject: bug#47242: eval-expression prompt should use emacs-lisp syntax-table
Date: Thu, 18 Mar 2021 15:33:37 +0000
The minibuffer prompt of  eval-expression accepts an elisp expression,
but it does not have proper syntax table setup.

This should be fixed.

The prompt does not do font locking either, but that has a bug report
already: #46092
