Please consider mentioning, in both the doc string and the Elisp manual,
that the result includes any text properties of the text that's copied.

Elisp manual and doc string for `buffer-substring' say this.  It's not
obvious that the same is true for `buffer-string'.

Makes sense.  I've now made this change in Emacs 28.
