Got an idea. You know that message:
Non-printable characters found. Continue sending?
d: delete r: replace s: send e: edit
Remove non-printable Replace non-printable Send as is without Continue editing
characters and send characters with "." removing anything
and send
Well that's great, but,
how about also:
h Replace them with hexadecimal notation. e.g., \x92
o Replace them with octal notation. e.g., ...
q Replace with Quoted Printable notation. e.g., .... (But maybe q (or n)
should be for quit (or "no"). Especially as you ask two questions in the same sentence:
"Non-printable characters found. Continue sending? (delete, replace, send, edit, ?): "
But then totally forget to give the user ^a choice for this question!!)
