Subject: bug#44983: Truncate long lines of grep output
Date: Tue, 08 Dec 2020 00:35:11 -0500
[[[ To any NSA and FBI agents reading my email: please consider ]]]
[[[ whether defending the US Constitution against all enemies, ]]]
[[[ foreign or domestic, requires you to follow Snowden's example. ]]]

What is xref-search?

Is this something I could use instead of cut, to truncate
long lines of grep output?
