Testing seems to indicate that when killing, Emacs doesn't properly
put the null or following characters in the pasteboard.

When manually putting test\0yo in the pasteboard, Emacs will only yank
the characters up to the null.

However, properly handling this is possible. Both TextMate and MacVim
properly paste the characters, including the null.

For testing with this problem, the OS X command-line tools 'pbpaste'
and 'pbcopy' are useful for examining the contents of the OS X
pasteboard.
