I did some bisecting here, and if I 

git checkout 0d0aad213f941efc0fa0ec032e37dc9c2b08c9fb

(i.e., go back to the version of Emacs just before the recent pdumper
hash table stuff), then Emacs builds without this bus error.

So I've added Paul to the Cc's.  :-)
