Yes:

figue <at> pluto ~ % sudo netstat -lnap | grep 9050
tcp        0      0 127.0.0.1:9050 0.0.0.0:*               LISTEN      
38935/tor

The check says:

"Sorry. You are not using Tor"

And in network settings it says:

"An extension,  Onion Browser Button, is controlling how IceCat connects 
to the internet."
