It seems to me that the requirement for a secret key in a user program
is fundamentally incompatible with free software.  A free system
cannot keep secrets from the user.  However, if Google is willing to leave a space to use free clients, something could be worked out.

First I have to finish studying all this.  I will send mail now to fetch
those articles.
