I am wrong. It is about the expansion. When using the short option,
then the expansion is done by the shell.

Note that it should be the same for '--manifest=~/path/to/manifests/'.
And all the '--long-options=~/path/to/something'.

Well, I do not find a function to expand tilde in Guile.
