Help, as of debian-snapshot 1:20100118-1 I am still getting
      completion--some: Searching for program: no such file or directory, LC_CTYPE=C man
when I hit M-x man bla<TAB>
just because I have (setq manual-program "LC_CTYPE=C man") in
http://jidanni.org/comp/configuration/.emacs .
