I now have a working setup:

# sudo flatpak install --from https://firefox-flatpak.mojefedora.cz/org.mozilla.FirefoxDevEdition.flatpakref
# sudo flatpak install flathub org.freedesktop.Platform.ffmpeg

flatpak run org.mozilla.FirefoxDevEdition
