Hm, since I added the patch, Emacs has crashed a couple of times. The
latest with this output:

  (emacs:11286): GLib-CRITICAL **: 23:08:53.296: Source ID 758 was not found when attempting to remove it
  Fatal error 6: Aborted

  (emacs:11286): GLib-WARNING **: 23:08:53.297: g_main_context_prepare() called recursively from within a source's check() or prepare() member.

Not sure if it is related, but frankly I can't remember the last time
Emacs crashed on me, so...
