A feature enhancement that is related to this is that I would l= ike to be able to set
the file extensions that would automatically be de= leted. Then for the

possiblyl changing dired-clean-confirm-killing-deleted-buff= ers to

this is the dired and sub-directory killing part. If you specif= y a list,
I think there needs a seperate variable that you can control t= he dired
buffer killing from the regular buffer killing.

(I'm going through old bug reports that unfortunately weren't resolved at the time.) In my opinion, this would require so much customisation that I don't think it's a feature that many people would use. So I'm closing this as a "wontfix". -- (domestic pets only, the antidote for overdose, milk.) bloggy blog: http://lars.ingebrigtsen.no From debbugs-submit-bounces@debbugs.gnu.org Sun May 08 10:06:57 2022 Received: (at control) by debbugs.gnu.org; 8 May 2022 14:06:57 +0000 Received: from localhost ([127.0.0.1]:54939 helo=debbugs.gnu.org) by debbugs.gnu.org with esmtp (Exim 4.84_2) (envelope-from ) id 1nnhYj-00038o-PV for submit@debbugs.gnu.org; Sun, 08 May 2022 10:06:57 -0400 Received: from quimby.gnus.org ([95.216.78.240]:59666) by debbugs.gnu.org with esmtp (Exim 4.84_2) (envelope-from ) id 1nnhYi-00038P-1T for control@debbugs.gnu.org; Sun, 08 May 2022 10:06:52 -0400 DKIM-Signature: v=1; a=rsa-sha256; q=dns/txt; c=relaxed/relaxed; d=gnus.org; s=20200322; h=Subject:From:To:Message-Id:Date:Sender:Reply-To:Cc: MIME-Version:Content-Type:Content-Transfer-Encoding:Content-ID: Content-Description:Resent-Date:Resent-From:Resent-Sender:Resent-To:Resent-Cc :Resent-Message-ID:In-Reply-To:References:List-Id:List-Help:List-Unsubscribe: List-Subscribe:List-Post:List-Owner:List-Archive; bh=GW4E3L0yY3mx+pfJubTgBuWuNC5gB7PIFM5cAUO2wPE=; b=sFupX9eR4Lw3obSboQCWMzmzni lqSs5QiKvRZZ9adbcoDWhzgEZXjDHBvLBttoQsQXWC8phi0SvGgt7KtYddYytbK6qXXmbACNvS5CN K3oQ4d1i/Sl4JkCpw2bElN5RR5xu6iQbZdyicBgStImW/yaSi3IdTujkqFQjyDmf772Q=; Received: from [84.212.220.105] (helo=xo) by quimby.gnus.org with esmtpsa (TLS1.3:ECDHE_RSA_AES_256_GCM_SHA384:256) (Exim 4.92) (envelope-from ) id 1nnhYa-0000tw-F0 for control@debbugs.gnu.org; Sun, 08 May 2022 16:06:46 +0200 Date: Sun, 08 May 2022 16:06:43 +0200 Message-Id: <87levcdsp8.fsf@gnus.org> To: control@debbugs.gnu.org From: Lars Ingebrigtsen Subject: control message for bug #38039 X-Spam-Report: Spam detection software, running on the system "quimby.gnus.org", has NOT identified this incoming email as spam.
