That's too bad.

I tried to preserve cross-compilation in guix/build-system/linux-module.scm
but apparently I missed something.  Sorry!

It could just be the

  (not target)                               ;XXX: no cross-compilation

in guix/build-system/linux-module.scm - because the other file should support
it just fine.
