Subject: Confusing message in FAQ: "This version has been heavily edited"
Date: Thu, 22 Aug 2019 15:13:12 +0200
In the FAQ on Emacs 26.2, it says:

> This is the version of the FAQ distributed with Emacs 26.2,
> and mainly describes that version.

But it also says further down:

> [This version has been heavily edited since it was
> included in the Emacs distribution.]

I'm not sure how to interpret that. Does that line make sense in a
released version?

Thanks,
Stefan Kangas
