Indeed I discovered bug#35649 from examining the commit messages
in the git repository and finding the c92251cb one mentioning
it

However from the git repo view, it seems not easy to know
which ELPA releases happened,

And https://www.gnu.org/software/auctex/ seems
to be lacking current information on bug fixes
