Emacs debugger outputs:

  preview-TeX-inline-sentinel(#<process Preview-LaTeX> "Preview-LaTeX")
  TeX-command-sentinel(#<process Preview-LaTeX> "exited abnormally with code 1\n")

which doesn't help.

Should this feature be reported to the MiKTeX author as a bug, or should it be handled by modifying the relevant patterns in AUCTeX?
