So, what about adding ‘--preserve’ (or ‘--keep’? I slightly prefer
“preserve”) and keeping ‘--inherit’ as a deprecated alias?
We could perhaps add ‘-E’ as well, reclaiming the long-deprecated
‘--exec’, WDYT?
