BTW, code that is the most affected by this change is everything that
creates a store database, in particular:

  • guix pack --localstatedir
  • guix system disk-image
  • guix system disk-image --file-system-type=iso9660
  • guix system docker-image
  • guix system init

I checked these manually but you’re very welcome to give it a spin and
report any issues!
