Yes, that’s an option, but I’m not sure it is the best option.  Icedtea
builds already take a very long time.  Rebuilding the JDK after the
“build” phase would almost double the build time.

I would be happier if we could prevent references to the bootstrap JDK
from ending up in the binaries.  Before we can do that we need to
understand why they are there.  Are they necessary or are they just
accidental?
