Is it possible that the crash was actually in another thread?
Although 'Thread 1 "emacs" received signal SIGSEGV' seems to rule that
out... But still, it could be useful to see the output of the GDB
command "thread apply all bt full".
Also, could the OP please rebuild Emacs without optimizations and show
the backtrace from that build?
