Subject: 26.0.90; The variable ‘vc-stay-local’
Date: Tue, 16 Jan 2018 16:14:37 +0000
In the Emacs manual, sections "28.1.10.1 The VC Directory Buffer" and
"28.1.13.3 Options specific for CVS" refer to the variable
‘vc-stay-local’, but this variable does not seem to be defined. (I'm
using subversion.) I will try customizing ‘vc-cvs-stay-local’ instead.

The "stay-local" feature was removed for everything except CVS, but
updating the documentation was not a priority, eg bug#19548 .

Thanks, I fixed the manual not to mention that variable.

There's no equivalent of vc-cvs-stay-local for SVN, AFAIK.
