It should print a message if there are no more articles,
(also do so in C-d digests.)

(So should the corresponding commands when hitting the last article.)

Looks like the messages that were supposed to be output when you have
`gnus-auto-select-next' set to nil weren't by default.  I've now fixed
this in Emacs 27.1.
