GNU Emacs 25.1.1 (i686-pc-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 3.14.5) of 2016-07-31

https://github.com/haskell/haskell-mode

Running into error-message, independently from M-x eldoc-mode RET, i.e.
no way to stop that showing up:

Debugger entered--Lisp error: (void-function haskell-doc-current-info)
  haskell-doc-current-info()
  eldoc-print-current-symbol-info()
  #[0 "\204

The culpritseems global-eldoc-mode set to `t' by default
