Hello,

the commit "Fix gnus-group-get-new-news-this-group on group with closed
server" makes my primary mailbox, which is

gnus-select-method ->
(nnimap "Michael_Heerdegen <at> web.de" (nnimap-address "imap.web.de"))

disappear from the standard view of subscribed groups after calling
`gnus'. The server is contacted, but I have to hit L to make the group
appear, and then it looks like

*.    *  243!  INBOX

i.e. number of unseen and unread articles is not shown.  I can enter it
OTOH.

I've reverted the commit, this really needs to be fixed in the caller.
