[Message part 1 (text/plain, inline)]
Hi all,

I'm not sure if this qualifies as a bug, or as a simple incompatibility: using `repeat' to run `isearch-forward-exit-minibuffer' confuses isearch.

Recipe: After starting emacs -Q with the following text and running the following commands, isearch is not active but its overlays are still visible:

    abcdef
    abcdef
    abcdef
    abcdef

    C-s b C-s C-x z C-f

The second C-s is not entirely necessary: C-s b C-x z C-f also fails to clear isearch's overlays

Cheers,
Clément.

I can reproduce this using the above recipe on Emacs 27.1.
