I was not proposing such a loop, merely offering suggestions that I
thought would aid clarity.

Since weʼre on the subject: I scanned the other patches, and there are
various minor formatting issues there: no double space at the end of
sentence, missing period at the end of sentence, plus some stray "\n"
in lisp doc strings. No need to resend, though :-)

Iʼd argue that based on consistency capital letters should only be
used at the start of a sentence, and in this case itʼs a dependent
clause, not a separate sentence. But thatʼs not a very strong rule,
Iʼll admit.
