Hi,

I am referring to the problem described at

https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/help-gnu-emacs/2011-05/msg00211.html

and

https://stackoverflow.com/questions/10871745/shift-up-arrow-doesnt-highlight-text-emacs-iterm2
.

The issue seems complicated and I don't understand it well.

However, if it can't be fixed in emacs but somewhere else, please tell
me where the bug has to be fixed and reported that the problem can be
finally resolved.

Cheers

Frank

(I'm going through old bug reports that have unfortunately not gotten
any responses.)

I've tried this in Emacs 27 (under X and with -nw), and I'm unable to
reproduce this error. Are you still seeing this?

The email bounced, so it seems unlikely that we'll make progress here,
and I'm closing this bug report.
