About 1/3rd of the time, when I try to open build.gradle in Emacs for
editing, Emacs segfaults.

These OS X style abbreviated backtraces don't provide any usable
information for debugging. Please reopen this if you can follow the
Emacs etc/DEBUG instructions and get a proper gdb backtrace from an
unoptimized build.
