Sorry, but I still don't get it.  (I think this means at least that the
docs need rewording.)  Take this text:

(defun spam ()
  (spam))

;; Lorem ipsum
(defun lorem-ipsum ()
  "Lorem ipsum."
  (message "Lorem ipsum."))

How do I place point so that `mark-defun' would mark `lorem-ipsum'
together with the comment before?
