Hello,

I personally use shortopt('K') for some time, see http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-diffutils/2013-03/msg00008.html (which refers back to 2009).

Whatever the letter chosen, the shortopt is needed because we (i mean I) have to type it every day.
