Hello Eli,

I see this problem, too.  Quickly tested your questions with my
configuration.

Yes.

Yes, it does.  Switching to another frame also removes the artifacts.

Yes, that helps.

Reverting 7927a4 as suggested somewhere else in this thread also fixes
the problem for me.
