Hi folks,

if you run grep 2.6.3 under RedHat Enterprise Linux 6.6
with option "-P" and feed it with Latin-1 characters,
it crashes with a coredump.
grep 2.5.2 and grep 2.7.0 are not affected.
Do you fix old versions?

A single "ΓΌ" (german u-Umlaut, i.e. u with a trema)
is with any totally simple search pattern is sufficient.

I have appended a test file.

Best regards,
Christian* Kern

No, our fixes appear in new versions. But Red Hat might fix your old
version -- you can try writing them.
