GNU diff v3.3 drops documentation for the '--forward-ed' option, but
still supports it.

We noticed this while trying to update GNU diff support in bzr (the
bazaar distributed version control system)[*].

It's documented in the full manual.  It's not in the short version 
because it's a useless option that nobody in their right mind would ever 
want to use.
