[Message part 1 (text/plain, inline)]
Start Emacs and just split frame into two windows using C-x 3. The area
between windows will be flickering on various occassions, like during
typing. The easiest reproduction is by moving mouse cursor over the
splitter area. This is on Ubuntu 14.04 using the Ubuntu provided Emacs
24.x package.

Please try the latest pretest of Emacs 24.4, I cannot reproduce this
there.
