Attached is a is a 3-line text file containing some 'exotic' unicode
characters.
And a screenshot of emacs reading that file started with emacs -Q
[vi shows it ok]

Note that although its 3 lines it looks like many more

Not on my system.  Here they look normal.

It could be a matter of the font used for these characters; I suggest
to try other fonts (S-mouse-1 should show a dialog where you can
select a different font).
