Hi Paolo,

If no normal char and/or CSET is included in the pattern, the superset
won't be used.

> We're using something like CSET{1,mb_cur_max} already for UTF-8, so the size increase for that should not be too bad.

We cannot apply its rule to non-UTF8 locales.
