Hi,
Total noob here. But anyway I can't seem to install emacs on Kali linux. I'm able to unzip the tar and I'm able to ./configure. But when I type "make" it says "no package specified" or something like that. I looked at the feedback from ./configure and it seems kali is missing some packages I guess. I'm not real sure how to handle this issue. I can't seem to find anything online about the problem.
I managed to install emacs, lisp, and slime on linux mint. So this problem isn't high priority for me or anything, but I'd like to know if anyone knows why I'm having this problem and if there is anything simple I can to do to overcome this issue.
Also I tried apt-get update and some stuff like that but still no luck.
Thanks,
Bob
