According to 
        (info "(emacs) Two-Column")

there is `C-x 6' map for it.

I wonder how common is use of Two-Column mode is.  If it is not so
commonly used, it doesn't deserve dedicated keys.

Even if it were commonly used it would not deserve wasting a function key for
it.
