That's no use to me I'm afraid.

If there is no-one willing to decode these traces, then presumably there
is on-one willing to work on fixing them.

Most of these reports do not have a recipe, so they are only slightly
useful, at most.

I agree with Eli that Drew, which experiences a fair amount of weird
crashes and assertion failures (likely related to his unusual
frame-oriented setup) should run Emacs under GDB. That would be really
helpful.

I normally try to decode every backtrace (unless I forget), and post
the results if they make sense. I'm quite sure these didn't.

Dropbox requires running nonfree software (in Javascript) even to access
a file there. It is not a good distribution method.

I'm not distributing anything, at least not officially. It's for private use.

You're not distributing it to the public, but you're distributing it
to SOMEONE, because that's whaty dropbox is for.

That's what my "at least not officially" means.

I'd say Dropbox is mostly to share with yourself across different
devices. That's 99% of my use of it.

I stand corrected -- but it is not good to run a nonfree program
regardless of the purpose.

The purpose in this case is to distribute pre-built binaries that are
only useful on a non-free software platform.

The purpose in this case is to distribute pre-built binaries that are
only useful on a non-free software platform.

That doesn't affect the conclusion. There is an important moral line
between helping the users of nonfree software install a free program,
and suggesting that someone run a nonfree program.
